Coaches
All Liberty 360 Coaches are NCAA Certified and
have succeeded in the basketball arena at the high school, college or
professional level.
Lorie Rayford Coach Rayford graduated from Morningside High School in
California where she earned 3 State Championships, 4 CIF
Championships, 2 National Titles, and a AAU National Championship
title with her select team in 2002. Her college career at
Texas Christian University (TCU) has been exceptional to say the
least. Coach Rayford was a 4 year starter, Freshman of the
year, Conference USA Champion, and Offensive player of the year her
2007/2008 season. Coach Rayford has coaching experience with
select AAU team Cal Sparks and the YMCA.
Julio Zarate Talk about game! Coach Zarate has it all. Coach
brings knowledge from the offensive and defensive side of the game.
Currently attending TCU and plans to graduate this Spring.
Danny Roberson
Coach Roberson attended Cass Tech High School were he was a four
year letter winner in football, basketball and baseball. After
graduation Coach Roberson attended Tennessee State University on a
four year scholarship for football. Never giving up his
passion for basketball, Coach Roberson continued to coach in his
spare time at the YMCA, recreation league and high school off season
programs offering his knowledge and experience to young players.
John Nyembo Mbuyi
John Nyembo Mbuyi is a graduate of the University
of Texas-Arlington with a degree in History. He played his high
school basketball locally at Colleyville Heritage High and played
college basketball at Dawson College (Montreal, Quebec.) but
injuries cut his career short. Coach Nyembo also has a lot of
coaching experience, he coached Montreal Northsiders 17U boys,
Grapevine 96ers 12U and Grapevine Greyhounds 12U.
Helen Roden
Helen comes to Liberty 360 Elite by way of Texas Christian
University. With a degree in communications, Coach Roden has
held numerous High School and College awards including the "Coaches
Award" her sophomore year. Coach Roden has a extensive
knowledge of the game of basketball and being a recent player and
graduate of TCU, she brings a fresh, current prospective to our
players and to the program.
